March 24th, 2012- Beyond Ghosts is back at one of it's most active locations of our 2011 investigation season. Last year we had numerous experiences and even witnessed a shadow person darting in and out the corner of the basement. This experience which lasted over 20 minutes was all captured on video. We are looking forward to coming back to the Knickerbocker Hotel on March 24th to see if we can experience and capture more evidence of paranormal activity. April 21st, 2012- Beyond Ghosts revisits the haunted seminary in Madison, Ohio! This massive building was first built as a boarding school. After the Civil War, it became home to displaced Civil War veteran's widows and their familes. It also served as a mental hospital with a locked wing in the attic that held the more violent and mentally ill patients. There are many places to investigate and spirits lurking in all areas of the building. One group of investigators was in a room with barred windows and really had an experience with a not so nice spirit. At the same time, another group of investigators witnessed a large shadow figure exiting that same room! That is just one of the experiences that happened on a night where we made contact with a child on the second floor, and even encountered an unwelcoming spirit in the psych wing in the attic! This investigation is limited to only 25 tickets! With such a small amount of tickets available, you are sure to get lost in this building! April 27-28, 2012- Beyond Ghosts is back to America's most haunted location, Gettysburg! We had a great time last fall when we went, and we are going to make this trip bigger and better than ever! This time we have four locations to investigate. We hope you can join us down in Gettysburg where we have gotten the best evidence and paranormal activity out of all the places we have ever visited.
LOCATIONS
We are back at the Soldier's Museum which one time was a Children's Orphanage. This place has the unfortunate history of children being beaten and locked up in the basement. This building is haunted by the caretaker Rosa Carmichael who chained children down in the basement. We will have access to the basement, first floor, and this time we also will be able to investigate the wax museum portion of the building where Ghost Adventures captured paranormal activity
For the first time, we will be investigating the Hall of President's building which was also featured on popular Paranormal TV shows like Ghost Adventures. Before this building stood, it was a burial ground for dead soldiers from the battlefield. The area now looks like a busy street, but back during the Civil War, it was the outskirts of Gettysburg and only had a few homes spread out. Another claim is that this building is haunted by the woman who has owned the building from it's construction until her death. She seems upset that her home became a tourist attraction since her passing. Most activity seems to happen in the basement where bodies where buried before they were moved in to permanent cemeteries.
Another locations we are excited to investigate is the Hoffman Mansion located on the battlefield where Pickett's charge occurred! It stands near Emmitsburg Road, the exact battle line of Pickett's charge during the battle of Gettysburg. The Mansion was used as a field hospital after Pickett's charge and during the battle. It is a great place to investigate and is known for many strange occurrences and ghost sightings. Many local paranormal groups have captured evp's, photo's, and even video's of paranormal happenings!
Finally, we investigate on the battlefield at the Widow Liester Cottage. This cottage was home to the widow and her six children. During the battle of Gettysburg, the cottage was used as General Meade's headquarters as well as a field hospital for the wounded and dying soldiers. We are excited to be able to investigate a building that is such an important part of the battle and American History!
ITINERARY
During the two days we also will schedule a battlefield meet-up where we can do some audio evp sessions of our own. We also will be scheduling a creepy candlelight tour to learn a little more of the history and hauntings of this little town. Finally, we will schedule a dinner get-together at a local restaurant to just hang out and relax. An official event itinerary will be sent and posted as the event gets closer. May 4th, 2012- Beyond Ghosts is taking over the vessels at the Buffalo Naval Park for the night and we want you to join us! Can you last the entire evening on these haunted ships? If so, then grab your sleeping bag and your paranormal investigation equipment and join us on May 4th for an evening you won't soon forget! We will be spending the night at the Naval Park and will have access to the USS Little Rock, USS The Sullivans, and the USS Croaker Submarine! The evening and morning will consist of paranormal investigations of all three ships, scheduled workshops and lectures throughout the night on the ships, the playing of some of our favorite ghostly movies in the Little Rock Rec Room, late night snacks, as well as a continental breakfast in the morning, and more!
